Tennessee has experienced its ups and downs on the recruiting front in the last year, but the Volunteers have a good deal of momentum on their side when it comes to the recruitment of 2011 five-star prospect Kevin Ware.

Ware, a 6-foot-4, 167-pound point guard from Conyers (Ga.) Rockdale County High School, has a visit to Knoxville scheduled for Oct. 30. Ware is not shying away from the possibility of an imminent commitment.
"I've been talking to Tennessee and Georgetown a lot lately," Ware told Rivals.com. "Tennessee is the school at the top of my list. I love Coach Pearl. He has a great style of play and is a great coach.
"I might be committing really soon."
Ware, the No. 22 prospect in the Rivals150, is also involved with Miami and Florida.
Kevin Ware scouting report:
A rangy athlete at the point guard position, Ware is a slashing scorer who can also distribute the basketball. His athletic burst also makes him a dangerous defensive player, especially in open-court situations. His outside shot does need work, but he is capable of making a number of plays that other point guards can't make.
