IN HIS WORDS ...

On Georgia: “They told me if I go there that I could be one of their main point guards. They also said they let their guards go. Obviously they don’t just let you do whatever you want to, but they do give you a lot of freedom. I watched them play a couple times last year, but I haven’t yet this year. I like the way they play. They win in the SEC and I think they are going to be good in a couple years.”

Seton Hall: “I like Seton Hall’s program a lot. That was like the first major program that was recruiting me. They want me to come and play right away.”

Oklahoma State: “I like Oklahoma State a lot too. I like the way they use Jawun Evans. He controls the whole team. Sometimes he scores more and sometimes he’s more of a passer. I like what they do.”

Saint Louis: “They were watching me here at the City of Palms. They just started recruiting me. I like Coach (Travis) Ford a lot. He’s a real nice guy. I don’t know too much about them yet.”

Oklahoma: “I like them a lot after watching Buddy Hield. They let their guards go. That’s a guard-oriented team, at least it has been the last two years.”

WHAT'S NEXT?

Walker said his main focus right now is his junior season at The Patrick School. After the season ends, he’ll be more active taking visits. It doesn’t sound like a decision will be coming any time soon.

RIVALS' REACTION

Right now, Walker said Georgia, Seton Hall and Saint Louis stand out the most. With him being just halfway through his junior season, there is plenty of time for this to change.

Georgia already hosted Walker on an unofficial visit during the fall when the Dawgs lost a heartbreaker to Tennessee in football. Seton Hall is the closest school in location recruiting him and it made it clear to him early that he’s a priority for them. Saint Louis is still in the process of building a relationship with the talented lead guard.
