The journey is finally over for Florida guard Gary Clark. He committed early to Florida, won a state championship as a junior, parted ways with the Gators, transferred schools, went undefeated as a senior and closed out his high school career with a pledge to Wake Forest. The Rivals150 guard has come full circle.

Clark, a 6-foot-3 guard from Montverde (Fla.) Academy, decided on Wednesday that he would take his game to the ACC and suit up for Skip Prosser at Wake Forest. According to Montverde head coach Kevin Sutton, the ACC school fit all of the things Clark was looking for.
"He felt very comfortable with them and they provided him with an opportunity to be successful socially, athletically and academically," Sutton said.
Wake Forest edged past Vanderbilt, the other finalist in the recruiting race. Sutton said the Demon Deacons landed the total package in Clark.
"They are getting the complete player. He's a very mature kid that is beyond his years and a great young man," Sutton said. "He should come in and be successful because he's serious about basketball and academics."
Former Montverde guard L.D. Williams finished his freshman season at Wake Forest this year.
Clark was a key member of Montverde's undefeated team that finished in the top 10 of numerous national polls. As a junior, he helped his Sarasota Booker team win a state championship.
