Wake Forest lands Texas big man

After touring from coast to coast during the month of October, Daniel Green has decided to play his college ball in the ACC. Monday, Greene decided to attend Wake Forest after a weekend official visit.
"Daniel grew up in North Carolina and was a Wake fan growing up," said Green's coach with the Dallas Mustangs, Albert Johnson. "He likes the setup of the small campus and small community and he also respects coach Bzdelik's straight forward approach and his honesty."

One of the hottest big man recruits in the past couple of months, Green is a late-bloomer from Grapevine (Texas) High.
Standing 6-foot-9, Green is a fluid athlete who can run the floor. He has good hands, is developing as a scorer in the post and facing the basket.
Basically, he's a hard working kid with lots of potential.
"Daniel is an upside player with a lot of potential," said Johnson. "He is a very skilled player who is capable of scoring in the post and of making shots from the perimeter and creating his own shot. One of his best attributes is his motor and how hard he competes."
A three-star prospect, Green joins a recruiting class that already includes shooting guard Chase Fischer.
