Wade Has New School On List

Clyde Wade, a 6-0 combo guard from The Winchendon School in Massachusetts, was expected to take an unofficial visit to Memphis, according to sources close to Wade. Wade had a great season, especially the last three months of the season.
Wade, an athletic point who can shoot the jumper, is being looked at by Texas A&M, Rhode Island, Hofstra, and Duquesne. Wade comes from the Memphis area and could possibly walk on.

"He is a lot like John Linehan," Winchendon head coach Mike Byrnes told us previously. "He does the same type of things. He is athletic. He gets in your face. He is a great defender. He can run the team. He did everything I asked him to do."
Byrnes added: "If John Linehan can do what he did on the college level I believe Clyde Wade can do the same thing."
There has also been some previous interest by Towson, Wagner, Fairfield, and Davidson. Wade happens to be a very good student. He possesses a 3.8 GPA but wants to raise his ACT score above a 20.
