Visser Chooses The ACC

Kyle Visser, a 6-9, 225 pound power forward/center from Forest Hills Central H.S. in Grand Rapids, Mich., committed to Wake Forest tonight, according to Kyle's family.
"He only made the decision earlier tonight," said Kyle's dad. "But he is very happy to be playing for such a great school and coach."

It was only a few days ago (before his visit to Wake Forest this weekend) that Visser told us he has narrowed his list of schools down. Visser was considering Western Michigan, Michigan, Indiana, Wake Forest, Georgia, San Diego State, and Notre Dame.
Marquette and Xavier were previously mentioned. Visser averaged 11 points, eight rebounds and three blocks per game as a junior at Forest Hills Central this past season. He said he has a 3.6 GPA and has already tallied a 24 on the ACT exam.
