Visits Set for Clemente

Coach Art Alvarez of the Miami Tropics has updated Rivals.com on the visitation schedule of Denis Clemente, the No. 90 ranked player in the Rivals150. The 5-foot-11, 150-pound point guard from Calusa Prep in Miami, Fla., will begin a string of five visits with hometown Miami this weekend.
“We’re going to Miami this weekend and then Arkansas, Ohio State, Cincinnati, and South Florida on consecutive weekends,” said Coach Alvarez. “All five schools are also doing in-home visits.”

Coach Alvarez named the three schools that are in the best position to land Clemente.
“Miami is looking good right now,” he said. “Cincinnati and Ohio State are also in good shape.”
Arkansas very well might be out of the picture with the late breaking commitment of point guard Sean McCurdy.
Extremely fast with the ball, Clemente is a dynamic scoring point guard. He can get into the lane and shoot the three ball. At his best in transition, Clemente will need to get stronger to excel in a half court, slower game.
Clemente led the state of Florida in scoring last year, averaging 34 points per game along with 7 assists per game.
