Visitors lining up for Morris

From Augusta, Ga., but going to school at Lakeville (Conn.) Hotchkiss School, 2010 prospect Jason Morris is receiving recruiting interest from the Big East Conference to the Southeastern Conference and in between. Presently ten schools are scheduled to visit the 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard this fall.
"My telephone won't stop ringing," said Hotchkiss head coach Fred Benjamin. "Pittsburgh, Villanova, Texas and South Carolina are now in the mix. Arizona is recruiting Jason very hard also since he played in their Elite Camp. Texas is also very high on our freshman point guard Derrick Wilson."

"Jason isn't even thinking about narrowing his choices down to a list," said Benjamin. "He wants to keep his options open and just see what every school has to offer.
"Jason is also doing a great job in the classroom. He just won a prestigious award for excellence that was presented to five students in the class of 2010 at Hotchkiss. He now has his name on a plaque and will forever be in the history of our school."
Jason Morris scouting report:
An athletic wing prospect, Morris is a versatile player with a strong all around game. He specializes in slashing to the basket and scoring in a crowd but can also hit the perimeter jumper. He is especially dangerous in transition and on the offensive boards. Defensively, he is active and versatile.
