Virginia adds California point guard

Anybody who was on the road during July didn't have to be a genius to know that Tony Bennett was locking in on London Perrantes.
The Virginia boss locked in on the California point guard and his efforts were rewarded on Monday evening.

Shortly after making the cross country trip to from the West Coast to Charlottesville, the six-footer from Encino (Calif.) Crespi offered up a verbal commitment.
A solid three-star prospect, Perrantes is the type of guard that Bennett will love and opponents will hate.
He takes care of the ball, makes crisp passes, runs an offense and is adept at finding backdoor cutters.
With Perrantes on board, The Cavaliers now have two point guards committed for the class of 2013. Four-star point guard Devon Hall committed during the summer and has the size to play alongside Perrantes allowing for a two-pronged attack.
