Vinson making the rounds

Athletic shot blocker Terrance Vinson of Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Ga., is down to four schools and has one visit left. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward should make a decision shortly after his visit to Tulane.
“Terrance is interested in George Mason, Virginia Tech, Chattanooga, and Tulane,” said Vinson’s AAU coach David Jones of the Jacksonville Lee Bulls. “He doesn't have a favorite. I believe they all have offered. He visited George Mason this past weekend and was at Virginia Tech earlier in the week. He has been to Chattanooga also. And he will be going to Tulane in a couple weeks.

"Terrance is going to sign early probably after his Tulane visit".
Coach Jones also provided Rivals.com brief comments about Vinson’s three prior visits.
"He had a good time at Virginia Tech and loved the campus. He came away very impressed.
"He also had a good time at Chattanooga. He loved the city.
"I know he liked his visit to George Mason, but I haven't had a chance to talk to him to much about it."
Eager to learn and enthusiastic about the game, Vinson should blossom on the collegiate level according to Coach Jones.
"I think he'll do really well in college,” said Jones. “He's always been willing to learn. When we first got him, he told me all I want to do is get better. His best basketball is ahead of him. Terrance is a great kid and is really enjoying the recruiting process. He loves taking these visits.
“Terrance is a very good athlete. I think he is a great sleeper prospect. His defense is ahead of his offense. He's a great shot blocker and works hard on the boards.”
