Blair Academy forward Charlie Villanueva, 6-foot-10, will be on the campus of Kansas tomorrow for an official visit. It will be Charlie's fifth and final official visit. Villanueva could also take unofficial visits to Connecticut and North Carolina.

"Charlie will definitely visit Connecticut unofficially," Charles said. "I am not sure about North Carolina. Roy Williams called and wants to talk to Charlie tonight. So we have to see if we can set this up."
Villanueva has until May 12th to make a decision on whether he put his name into the NBA draft. AAU coach Gary Charles stated today that Villanueva had not yet made a decision. "It's 50/50," Charles told RivalsHoops.com. "If he gets any indication he can go to the League (NBA), it's his first choice."
But Villanueva prefers a first-round selection as opposed to being a second-round pick. Right now, a first-round selection for Villanueva is a question mark.
Kansas, who hired Bill Self away from Illinois, is certainly not a surprise visit for Villanueva, who previously has expressed positive words about the former head coach. Villanueva had given a verbal commitment to Illinois and Self last Fall but didn't sign a letter of intent. This still makes Villanueva free to sign with any school.
