Villanueva Standing Pat at Five

Charlie Villanueva, a 6-10, 215 pound power/combination forward from Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., said that he is considering five colleges this summer.
Villanueva scored 18 points on Friday morning as the Long Island Panthers were eliminated from the adidas Big Time Tournament by the New York Ravens in the quarterfinals.

After the game, he told Rivalshoops.com that Illinois, St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova and UCLA round out his list of five colleges.
Villanueva will officially visit Illinois in late September (possibly the weekend of the 23rd), and is also planning to take fall trips to UCLA and Villanova.
Because they are so close to his home, Villanueva has already unofficially visited both St. John's and Seton Hall, so he said he's not sure if he will visit those two Big East programs on an official basis.
Villanueva will wrap up the summer this week with the Long Island Panthers at the Best of the Summer Tournament in Los Angeles. Previously, he attended the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey, the adidas Three Stripes Classic in New York and the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.
We will keep you posted on his visit plans and timetable on a decision, so stay tuned!
