Villanova Picks Up Commitment

Small forward Dwayne Anderson from St. John’s High School in Mitchellville, Maryland has informed RivalsHoops.com that he is set to sign with Villanova.
“I will probably sign in a couple weeks with Villanova,” said the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Anderson. “Me and my family feel really good about the decision. I like the players, coaches, and my situation there. When I go there, I’ll be playing behind a junior and be able to get experience.”

Anderson chose Villanova over LaSalle and Virginia Tech, but he had his mind set on Villanova from the start.
“The connection between myself and the players and the coaches was the main factor,” he said. “It began even before I visited when the coaches came to open gym to watch me play.”
Anderson will primarily play shooting guard for the Wildcats.
