Villaneuva The NBA Question

It's a question Charlie Villanueva will field many, many more times over the next several months. And because at the ADIDAS camp, Charlie will probably have to answer the question even more.
At the ABCD camp, Villanueva has solidified his top five ranking. He is the second highest rated player in the camp regarding statistics. He is averaging close to 20 points a game too. So the natural question that Charlie always faces is the NBA interest. "If they are interested in me, why shouldn't I be interested in them," Villanueva said.

Villanueva, the talented and versatile 6-10, 215-pound big forward from Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey, lists Seton Hall, St. John's, Villanova, Illinois, and UCLA as finalists for his services. All of the schools have offered. Villanueva plans on taking trips to Villanova, Illinois, and UCLA, the three schools outside of the New York area.
"During the fall I'll take my visits, and by the winter I'll probably have decided on a school," said Villanueva.
Charlie will compete in the Three Stripes Tournament at Hofstra with the Long Island Panthers, as well as the Las Vegas Big Time Tournament and the Double Pump Tourney in California.
"I think because the NBA has taken players out of the high school ranks recently that it's natural to think that Charlie might be one of those guys that could go," said his AAU coach Gary Charles. "But Charlie is looking at college first. He will take it as it comes."
