Vegas forward will play in the Pac 12

Monday, Bishop Gorman coach Grant Rice confirmed that Allen committed to Stanford .
The Cardinal, though, may not have even needed that to happen as Johnny Dawkins and his staff had put themselves in great position to land the 6-foot-8 combo forward.
A thin and skilled player, Allen is a pretty good shooter from deep with some length and ability to put the ball on the floor.
Ranked No. 73 in the class of 2012, the four-star prospect joins a class that already includes ranked three-star big man Grant Verhoeven and Texas shooter Christian Sanders.
