Vaughn schedules first visit

Deonta Vaughn is ready to take the next step forward in his recruitment. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound combo guard from Harmony Prep School has scheduled his first official visit, which will take place later on this week. If Vaughn, the three-star prospect, is not ready to make a decision about his future after taking an official visit, another visit will likely take place.
"I am taking an official visit to Oakland," said Vaughn. "I am supposed to visit Oakland on Wednesday, but I will probably change the visit to Friday. I am not trying to miss any school right now, so it might be best for me to take my official visit on Friday.

"There is a chance that I might take a visit to Cincinnati next week," he added. "South Eastern Missouri is another school that has called, but I don't know if that is an option for me. I am just going to take my visit to Oakland and see how that visit goes."
According to Vaughn, he might make a decision about his future and sign a Letter-of-Intent next week. A lot of that depends on how his visit to Oakland goes.
"I might commit early next week," said Vaughn. "I might actually decide after I get back from my visit to Oakland. I have not made a decision yet, but that's probably what I will do. I don't know if another visit will happen or not.
"If I do decide to take a visit to Cincinnati, I will probably pick a school after I return home," he added. "If that visit does take place, I will make the decision a few days after the visit is over."
