Vanwright becoming a hot commodity

Dale Vanwright, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound small forward from Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas., has seen his recruitment heat up as of late. The No. 59 ranked player in the class of 2006 has already taken several unofficial visits, and plans to take another visit towards the end of the month.
"Things are going pretty good right now," said Dale Vanwright, Sr. "We have decided to wait until the end of the summer before we make any decisions about Dale's future. A decision will probably be made after the ABCD camp.

"I can tell you that coaches from Georgetown, Florida State, Miami-FL, Georgia, Colorado, SMU, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State and Syracuse came to visit Dale in school. I would say that Colorado is probably the leader right now, but he also has a great deal of interest in Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Illinois and several others."
Despite the fact that Vanwright, the No. 13 ranked small forward in the class, is not yet ready to trim his list of schools just yet, he is looking forward to coming up with a list of 10 schools in the near future.
As it stands right now, Vanwright has scheduled an unofficial visit towards the end of the month.
"Dale is going to take an unofficial visit to Wake Forest on the Thursday or Friday before Memorial Day," said Mr. Vanwright. "I also know that he will be taking an official visit to Syracuse in the fall. Aside from that, no other visits have been planned at this time.
Vanwright is also receiving a great deal of interest from the likes of Baylor, Boston College, Cincinnati, Connecticut, DePaul, Georgia Tech, Houston, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and TCU.
