Vaden, Clark Pace Bridgton to Win over IMG

MILFORD, Del. -- Indiana signee Robert Vaden (right) erupted for 31 points and Iowa State bound Rahshon Clark pumped in 30 as Bridgton Academy downed IMG Basketball Academy, 114-106, on Saturday at the War on the Shore.
Clinging to a 94-92 lead with just over six minutes to play, Vaden sparked a 9-2 run that helped Bridgton take a 103-94 advantage. Vaden hit a three pointer and made a nifty pass to Rahshon Clark for a dunk to help the Wolverines pull away late.

Clark was very effective finishing around the basket, shooting 13 of 19 from the field and adding 13 rebounds and three assists from his forward slot. After a lackluster shooting performance against Laurinburg on Friday, Vaden heated up on Saturday, knocking down three of seven three pointers and 12 of 19 overall.
Cassin Diggs did a nice job in the paint for Bridgton, collecting 18 points and 11 rebounds. His three point play with 6:28 remaining broke a 91-91 deadlock and gave the Wolverines the lead for good.
After a slow first half, Ramel Bradley recovered to score 21 points to lead IMG. Small forward Rashad Bilal chipped in 19 points and Penn State signee Danny Morrisey contributed 18 points in the loss.
Even though IMG hit 12 three pointers on the day, Bridgton dominated the glass, outrebounding their opponents by a wide 59-34 margin.
