UVAs Joseph Sparkling So Far For Brewster

The University of Virginia knew they had inked a great player last Fall in Adrian Joseph, a 6-foot-7 small forward from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. Head coach Pete Gillen and his staff worked extremely hard in pursuing Joseph especially during the big July evaluation period. So it comes as no surprise that Joseph is having a great season for Brewster head coach Jason Smith so far this year.
"Adrian has been our most consistent performer this year," Smith said. "Adrian is averaging a team high 19 points a game and also has done a great job of rebounding for us. He's averaging 11 a game in the rebounding department."

Smith also stated that Joseph's offensive game continues to get better each week. "He's a fluid, yet explosive athlete whose been shooting the ball very well," Smith said."
But Joseph's value goes beyond shooting the basketball, according to Smith. "Adrian has also shown tremendous vision," Smith stated. "He has also been very unselfish, finding the open man."
Joseph, who had a season high 26 points yesterday against Phillips Exeter, is likely to thrive under a Pete Gillen type of offense. He moves his feet well in transition and has the ability to finish against bigger bodies.
