Utah has struck again, this time landing four-star wing Timmy Allen.

Fresh off of an official visit to Salt Lake City over the weekend, the versatile 6-foot-5 wing from Arizona decided that he had seen enough and committed to Larry Krystkowiak and the Utes.

Etop Udo-Ema the program director for Allen's summer team the Compton Magic says that his player loved everything about his visit.

"He just fell in love with his future teammates and the coaching staff," Udo-Ema told Rivals.com. "Coach K has always kind of been his favorite anyway and it's a perfect fit for him. If you look at their roster it is kind of like guards and bigs so there's nobody in between and it's a great situation for him to come in."

A scorer with strength and savvy, Allen has sneaky big size at 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds to go with a 6-foot-10 wingspan. He's been a solid producer on the summer circuit and has shown tremendous versatility and a commitment to the defensive side that could allow him to flourish.

"I think he's going to be one of the surprising freshman in the Pac 12 and opportunity to come in and play minutes is there if he works," said Udo-Ema."He is a just tenacious defender. He has length and size and I don't think any of us realized how long he is. He's a very good all around player, he can shoot it some and he's good at a little bit of everything."

Allen is the third member of Utah's 2018 recruiting class joining three-star guard Naseem Gaskin who committed late last week and junior college guard Charles Jones II.
