He will travel to Weber State this weekend for his first trip. St. Mary's (Calif.) hosts the three-star big man the first weekend of Sept. Pepperdine is the week after and his trip to UC-Davis comes on Sept. 21. Hamilton said he is keeping his fifth visit open for the time being. All four schools have offered scholarships.
Hamilton is also hearing from Iowa State, Boise State, Portland and Cal-Poly. Hamilton said the Cyclones haven't officially offered but would like for him to come out for a visit. Boise State and Portland have yet to offer either.
"I'm open to everything right now," Hamilton said.
"I'm going out to see all of the colleges and trying to get a perspective on all of the colleges and what they have to offer. I'm going to use all of my visits and go over all of the schools with my family and see what is the best basketball and best academic mix for me."
Hamilton said he would like to study sports marketing in college. The big man shined in the spring with Salt Lake Metro and had success at a number of individual camps in July.
