Updated Info On Torin Francis

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Torin Francis, a highly skilled 6-10, 220-pound forward from Tabor Academy in Massachusetts, is expected to take unofficial visits to Georgetown and Maryland over the next two days. These are the first in a long line of unofficial visits Francis is taking.

He has also scheduled a visit to Georgia Tech on July 11th. He is soon to take more visits after that including trips to Virginia, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Duke between August 9th-15th. There is a possibility that the Georgia Tech visit and maybe a trip to Wake Forest will also take place during this timeframe.

Francis told us previously he plans on visiting Virginia and Notre Dame too. Francis has already visited Boston College. In addition, Francis said there is a possibility that he might visit Connecticut, Wake Forest, and Florida. Francis will be down in Orlando, Florida for the NIKE Showcase and National AAU tournament.

Francis had a great season as a junior. Francis averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per contest.

"I expect to have decision by September 1st," Francis said.
