Unsigned Clark making the rounds

The to-do list is pretty simple for Gary Clark these days. Finish the season undefeated and find a college home. The guard from Montverde (Fla.) Academy will accomplish one of those goals this weekend and the second could come shortly after.
Clark, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound shooting guard, and his Montverde (29-0) will play Benedictine High School in Richmond, Va., on Saturday and hope to end their season with perfection.

"That's the goal," Montverde head coach Kevin Sutton said.
With the season nearly over for the nationally ranked Sunshine State squad, Clark will take a couple more visits with hopes of ending a long process. The former Florida pledge recently visited Vanderbilt when, ironically, the Commodores hosted the Gators and won.
"He liked it a lot there," Sutton said of Clark's trip to Nashville. "I know it gave him something to think about."
A visit to Virginia Tech is schedule for March 3 and a trip to Wake Forest is awaiting a concrete date, Sutton said.
"I know he likes all three of those schools so taking all five visits may not happen," Sutton said. "I know he'd like to take five but it's going to be interesting to see what happens because all three are great academic schools and that is what he is looking for. I don't know if he can do any better."
Georgia and Illinois, who stopped in to see Clark on Thursday, are also being considered.
