Undersized Post Man Makes A Difference

Ryan Sweet, a 6-6, 220 pound power forward/center from Coatesville (PA) High School is a force on the boards despite giving away inches to most opponents.
We spoke with Sweet at last week's Triple S Harley Davidson Charlie Weber Invitational at West Virginia University where Sweet had helped the Mustangs top the New Jersey's Memorial Park Players in an effort to make the championship round. (They didn't - the Tennessee Travelers took that four-team pool.)

Sweet, who averaged seven points and eight rebounds last season at Coatesville, said, "I'm working on improving my ballhandling this summer."
Schools recruiting this undersized post player include Bucknell, St. Francis (PA), Robert Morris and Philadelphia University (a Division II school that was previously named Philadelphia Textile). "I'm open," Sweet pointed out.
A good student, Sweet carries a 3.4 GPA and scored 1050 on the SAT.
