Mississippi State also was seriously interested. "I liked the coaching staff at Texas A&M," Law said. "I took an unofficial visit there. I felt very comfortable down there."
Law also took a visit to SMU. Law has grown a couple of inches since last summer. Law averaged 14.5 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and three steals per game last year as a junior. Law will sign in the Fall with Texas A&M.
Law has an 84 average in the classroom and has scored a 1020 on the SAT.
Law knows how to find open teammates and plays with a great deal of poise. He is hard to rattle with pressure and is very active on both ends of the court.
In addition, he defends well and doesn't have many holes in his game. He is a well-rounded player and a terrific early pickup for the Texas A&M program.
Law will play with Mitch Malone's Texas Blue Chips program this summer. He is scheduled to be at the Bob Gibbons Memorial Day tournament, the adidas ABCD camp, the Three Stripes Classic, the adidas Big Time Tournament and the Best of the Summer Tourney.
Law first came to the attention of Rivalshoops.com last summer at the Big Time Tournament, where he played with Rob Wright's Dallas Slam N Jam program.
