Kentucky leads an impressive list of six SEC teams in the Rivals.com Top 20 national ranking for the 2011 class. This marks the third straight year that John Calipari has secured a No. 1 recruiting class for Kentucky. All four of Kentucky's commitments are five-star prospects, including half (No. 2 Marquis Teague, No. 3 Mike Gilchrist and No. 6 Anthony Davis) of the top six nationally.
The Big East is the second-best conference at this point in the 2011 recruiting race. No. 3 Syracuse and No. 4 Louisville lead the way, with Rutgers and Villanova also making the Top 20.
Traditional ACC powers North Carolina (No. 2) and Duke (No. 9), represent the league, with Virginia Tech squeezing in at No. 20.
The Big Ten also has a couple of teams in the top 10 with Michigan State at No. 6 and Illinois at No. 8, and a third (Ohio State) in the Top 20. Texas represents the Big 12 in the top 10 at No. 5, while rival Texas A&M checks in at No. 19.
The Pac-10 (No. 15 Arizona) and Atlantic-10 (No. 17 Xavier) also have representatives in the Top 20.
