Udoh has two on top

6-foot-9 217 lbs. C/F Ekpe Udoh from Santa Fe HS in Edmund, OK has turned his excellent play in front of the college coaches this month into some serious interest from several schools. A pair of programs from the Big Ten and PAC-10 have jumped out in front in the recruiting race to land the big man. Rivals.com spoke with Udoh this week for an update.
It's been a busy time for Ekpe Udoh this past week. Coming off the road after the Reebok ABCD Camp in Teaneck, NJ Udoh had several new schools enter the recruiting picture.

"Michigan, Arizona State, UNC-Charlotte, Wyoming, Oral Roberts, and Southwest Missouri State are the schools on my list," Udoh said. "All have offered except Michigan."
Udoh said that the opportunity to play for a major conference team definitely appeals to him, stating, "Michigan and Arizona State are my leaders right now with Charlotte close behind. I'm not in a big hurry, though. I'm taking my time and looking at all of my options."
He said that he is still open to other schools getting involved.
Udoh played well at the ABCD Camp, showing his ability to block shots and rebound the ball, as well as finish plays around the basket. His knees seem to be giving him less trouble, as he moved better than he has in the past. However, improvement running the floor and getting bigger and stronger is still a priority if he hopes to play major college basketball.
He'll play in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with the Texas Blue Chips program. Udoh previously played with Athletes First out of Oklahoma, but switched to the Blue Chips at the end of April.
