Entering his final season of travel basketball, David Singleton decided enough was enough as he committed to UCLA on Thursday evening. A well-built shooting guard that plays for a very successful Bishop Montgomery High School program, Singleton is another quality addition for the Bruins.

A 6-foot-5 shooting guard that has the perfect basketball body, Singleton is someone that can score from deep, finish at the basket, but also has the intellect and feel in creating for others as a secondary ball-handler.

Holding offers from the majority of the Pac-12, Singleton brings a vast scoring package along with defensive versatility to UCLA, a place that should expect immediate contributions from him.

The No. 57 prospect, Singleton becomes the first pledge to Steve Alford’s program from the 2018 class. The Bruins will remain heavily in the mix for big men this summer including Marvin Bagley, Jordan Brown, Bol Bol and Miles Norris.
