Had he wanted to, Allerik Freeman could have easily dragged his recruitment out.

Instead, the 6-foot-4 guard ended it all on Saturday afternoon.
While on a visit to UCLA, the senior at Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep tweeted that he had committed to Ben Howland and the Bruins.
"I'm officially a UCLA Bruin," tweeted Freeman. "Thank you too all the people who supported me and especially my family! All love. Long way to go though."
The No. 52 player in the 2013 Rivals150, Freeman is a physical scorer. He uses his shoulders to discard defenders, is very strong and decisive with one and two dribble pull-ups.
Right now, Freeman can be a bit streaky on the offensive end. However, as he learns to make better decisions and to mix it up a little more, he should develop into an excellent scorer in Westwood.
Because of his physicality and relatively quick feet, Freeman also projects as a guy that could end up being a very good defender.
Freeman is the second four-star combo guard to call it for the Bruins after Zach LaVine committed early.
