UCLA commits shine at Showcase

CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- Four UCLA commits were in action at the Sierra Canyon Super Showcase last weekend, and two of them walked away with eye-popping stat lines after Chino Hills (Calif.)'s 85-83 win over Foothills Christian. Lonzo Ball finished with 25 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners, while T.J. Leaf had 43 points and 21 rebounds in a losing effort.

Chino Hills might have finished with the victory but all eyes were on Leaf during his outstanding performance. He is excited to team up with Lonzo Ball at UCLA next year.

"It's going to be fun next year with all the guys returning and with me, Lonzo and Ike [Anigbogu] coming in," Leaf said. "I'm really looking forward it it. We're going to have a bunch of good pieces that could potentially compete for a Final Four. "

Also playing in the game were future UCLA commits 3-star shooting guard LiAngelo Ball and 2019 point guard LaMelo Ball. The youngest brother is not afraid to shoot from anywhere on the court and will let it fly from a few feet behind the 3 point line.

There were plenty of UCLA fans in the stands to see these four future Bruins play against each other and they did not leave disappointed. All four players contributed for 106 out of 168 total points scored. The future looks bright for UCLA basketball.
