UCF Gets NY City Guard

Kingsley Edwards, a 6'0'' 175 pound combo guard from Monroe Community College in The Bronx, New York, will sign a letter of intent to play at Central Florida (UCF), according to Monroe assistant coach Lance Tejada.
Edwards also considered Florida International and Drexel.

Edwards boosted his stock during Monroe's run to the NJCAA Division I finals in Hutchinson, Kansas, this past winter. The slick combo should be a nice fit for the Atlantic Sun Conference school.
He will join point guard Gary Johnson from Schoolcraft College in Michigan whose signing was announced earlier this week and forward Marcus Avant from Northwest Mississippi Junior College who signed this past fall.
