Tyler Jones Has D-1 Interest

Tyler Jones, a 6-9, 210-pound forward from the state of Colorado, transferred to Laurinburg Institute in North Carolina for the 2002-2003 season, according to head coach Chris Chaney.
Jones is a skilled forward who can play either the small forward slot or the power forward position. According to Chaney, he plans on playing Jones at the four slot since he has Keith Blanks and Von Wafer aboard.
Chaney said Jones is being recruited by New Mexico State and Weber State. But once schools take a look at Jones, it's likely more division one programs will try and jump into the recruiting process.
