Tyler Hansbrough Narrows list to three

Tyler Hansbrough, one of the most elite prospects in the class of 2005,
is nearing the final stages of his recruitment. The 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward from Poplar Bluff High School in Poplar Bluff, MO., is scheduled to take his fifth and final visit to Kansas during the weekend of May 7. There has also been talk of Gene Hansbrough, Tyler's Father, taking a visit to North Carolina the weekend of May 14-16.

“I have decided to take my last official visit to Kansas,” Hansbrough told RivalsHoops.com. I just made the decision a few days ago, so I have not had time to set a date yet. I do know that the visit will happen pretty soon. I need to call Coach Self about a date, but I hope to have it done within the next few weeks.
“The decision came down to the visit I had with Coach Self last week,” he added. “He really had some great things to say and made me think a lot about the future. I have already called the Duke coaching staff and let them know of this decision. The Duke coaching staff will not be coming to my school next week.”
Hansbrough will be Lawrence during the weekend of May 7, but he will not be the only visitor on campus. Alex Galindo, the 6-foot-6, 203-pound small forward will be on campus as well.
Now that a date for his final official visit has been set, Hansbrough and his father are in the process of setting up another visit to North Carolina. It was originally believed that both his parents would attend the trip, but that is no longer the case. If the visit does happen, look for Gene Hansbrough, Tyler’s father, to spend a weekend in Chapel Hill.
“I can say that my father is planning to take a visit to UNC the weekend of May 14-16 to take a look around the campus so they can see what I got to see,” Hansbrough said.”
Rivals.com ranks Hansbrough as the No. 2 player in the class of 2005. It is believed that he will select from Kansas, Kentucky or North Carolina.
