Two visits for Eggleston

Jack Eggleston is ready to start taking some official visits. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has two visits planned, which will take place in September and October. According to Eggleston, no additional visits have been planned at this time.
"I am taking an official visit to American September 22," said Eggleston. "After that, I will be taking an official visit to Lafayette October 16. Pennsylvania is coming to the gym on September 9 to watch practice. The coaching staff from American will be there, too. They are going to come to my house after the workout for an in-home visit.

"Columbia was up near the top of my list, but after talking to the coaching staff, I don't know where they stand," he added. "The coaching staff told me that they are in the process of evaluating some of their players, so I don't know if they plan to seriously recruit me or not."
Eggleston indicated that a number of changes have occurred in regards to his recruitment. There was a time when Leigh, Columbia, Princeton, Stanford, Wake Forest, Florida Atlantic, Furman, Old Dominion, William & Mary and others were actively recruiting the power forward prospect.
However, it appears that three teams, American, Lafayette and Pennsylvania are the teams to beat.
"Pennsylvania is definitely one of my favorites," he said. "I would love to officially visit the campus, but don't know if that will happen or not. The new coaching staff is still in the process of evaluation some players. Still getting to know the new staff.
"No other in-homes have been planned at this time," he added. "I would like to make my decision by the early signing period in November. I am still working out three-to-four times per week and preparing for the season."
