Two Schools Watch Gordon Set Mark

2005 prospect Jamont Gordon, who is averaging well over 30 points per game, recently scored 31 points to go over the 1,000 point mark in his high school career. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound shooting guard from Nashville had coaches from two high major schools in the stands as he led 11-3 Glencliff High School to a 103-85 win over Hunters Lane High School.
“Memphis, Alabama, and Tennessee are the three schools recruiting me the hardest right now,” said Gordon, the No. 25 player in the Rivals75 for the class of 2005. “Memphis and Alabama were at the game. I plan to visit Tennessee and Memphis soon.”

Gordon also said that no one has yet made an official offer to him and his three favorites are still Louisville, Memphis, and Tennessee. At this point, all he is getting from Louisville are some letters.
Gordon also pulled down 9 rebounds and dished out 8 assists on his 1,000 point night.
“Yes, that game did mean a lot to me,” Gordon said. “It really showed I have been playing harder and more aggressive.”
