Two more offers for Baciu

Coaches continue to make their way to Veritas High School in Ashville, N.C., as word is spreading about Lithuanian post player Catalin Baciu. The 7-foot-1, 230-pound 2008 prospect recently picked up two more offers.

Already with offers from North Carolina State, Clemson and Davidson, Baciu now can add Memphis and St. John's as schools that have offered him.

The next few weekends will be a busy time for Baciu.

"Davidson head coach Bob McKillop played a big role in getting him to the States, so he took his first unofficial last weekend to their campus," said Veritas head coach John Jordan. "this weekend he is visiting NC State to watch the Pack practice and see the Wake Forest football game. Next weekend he is off to Clemson for the same thing, then to Tennessee on November 4th."

Coach Jordan has also heard recently from Utah and Wake Forest.
