Two leaders for Williams

Brian Williams is a name that most followers of recruiting might not recognize, but that's about to change. The 6-foot-9, 260-pound center/power forward from Harmony Prep in Cincinnati, Ohio, has several high-major programs involved in his recruitment at this time. Williams intends to make a decision during the late signing period.
"Cincinnati, St. John's, Akron, UMASS and Rhode Island are recruiting me the hardest right now," said Williams. "Most of the schools recruiting me are going to offer by the end of the summer.

"I am planning to take unofficial visits to Cincinnati, St. John's and Akron," he added. "I would like to get a look at those schools this summer if that is possible. I don't have any dates lineup yet, but I hope to have that done before the summer ends."
Before Williams makes any additional decisions about his recruitment, the 6-foot-9, 260-pound center/power forward is planning to take all five official visits in the fall. Getting a closer look and a better feel for each of the programs is important to the talented prospect.
Williams also mentioned that two programs in particular have made a move to the top of his list.
"I will use all five visits," said Williams. "Cincinnati and St. John's are at the top of my list right now. I really like everything about those two schools. I do believe that Cincinnati is the best fit for me, but both schools are at the top.
"I also know that I am going to sign during the late period," he added. "I want to concentrate on working hard and becoming a better player. I don't have any plans to rush my decision."
