Two Leaders For Tasmin Mitchell

Tasmin Mitchell, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound small forward from Denham Springs High School in Denham Springs, La., has a large number of high major programs interested in his services, but two schools in particular sit atop his list. The No. 1 ranked player on the Rivals150 list said LSU and Kentucky are the teams to beat.
“You can put LSU and Kentucky right at the top of my list," he said. "Kentucky and LSU are the two schools that I have a high amount of interest in. I plan to officially visit those two schools, and I might take a visit to UCLA as well. Louisville and North Carolina are the other schools that I like.

“It’s my plan to sign during the late signing period. I am going to wait until the very last day. I’ve decided to concentrate on this summer and have a great senior year, so that’s one of the main reasons why.”
Mitchell will have plenty of opportunities to solidify his No. 1 ranking throughout the summer. He will participate in every major AAU event this summer and gain plenty of exposure.
“I will spend the summer running with the New Orleans Jazz,” Mitchell said. “I will also play in some individual tournaments as well. I will be at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions next week, the USA Developmental Festival, the NBA Players Association camp, the Las Vegas Big Time and a few other tournaments.
“I really want to keep my No. 1 ranking. That is something I definitely want to achieve.”
Mitchell averaged 24 points and 12.5 rebounds per game during his junior season.
