Two leaders for Arthur

Darrell Arthur, the No. 19 ranked player in the class of 2006, has seen two teams emerge as the teams to beat in his recruitment. Arthur, the five-star prospect from Dallas, Texas, has also eliminated one of schools from contention.
"Kansas and Indiana are the leaders in my recruitment," said Arthur. "Those are the two schools that I really like right now. I have already taken official visits to both schools and liked what I saw at both. Kansas and Indiana are definitely the teams to beat.

"I am also considering SMU, Baylor and Texas," he added. "North Carolina received a couple of commitments last week, so they are no longer an option. Kansas, Indiana, SMU, Baylor and Texas are the schools on my list."
After taking an official visit to Kansas this past weekend, Arthur, the No. 4 ranked power forward in the class, indicated that he might be ready to make a decision sooner than originally expected. Furthermore, he said that he might not need to take any additional visits.
However, it appears that he will take several more visits before making any decisions about his future.
"I am going to take an official visit to SMU this weekend," said Arthur. "After that visit is complete, I am going to visit Baylor the next weekend. There is a chance that I will take an unofficial visit to Texas, but I have not made a decision yet.
"I don't plan to make a decision about a school until I have taken all of my official visits," he added. "That is my plan right now. I want to visit each of the remaining schools on my list before I decide."
