Two Georgia Hurricanes off the board

After a solid showing on the summer circuit, the Georgia Hurricanes have a number of players deciding where they will play their college basketball. Two of the Hurricanes, Tony Neysmith and Zach Graham made their decisions this weekend.
Neysmith, a 6-foot-5, 196-pound point guard from Norcross (Ga.) High School, will join the Oklahoma Sooner program, hoping to take over the point guard position for Coach Capel.

"A big reason Tony decided on Oklahoma is that Coach Capel played his position," said Neysmith's father and the coach of the Hurricanes Horace Neysmith. "He feels Coach Capel can develop his game and put him into a position to possible get to the next level.
"Coach Capel feels Tony has a great opportunity to help the team right away. It's a good fit for Tony, and Coach Capel has done a great job recruiting since he has been at Oklahoma."
Neysmith, the No. 84 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, chose Oklahoma over St. John's and Charlotte.
Tony Neysmith scouting report:
A long and physical point guard, Neysmith specializes in getting to the rim and also setting up his teammates. Also, a tough defender, he can guard multiple positions and is tough on the boards. Needs to improve his outside jumper.
Neysmith's teammate Zach Graham, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward from Peachtree Ridge High School in Lawrenceville, Ga., chose Ole Miss over Virginia Tech and Charlotte according to Coach Neysmith.
"Zach gives Ole Miss a player who can move with out the ball and score in transition," said Neysmith. "He is a relentless scorer in his movement without the ball and the way he can use screens.
"Ole Miss is excited about the fact that he has a body that is ready to handle the physical nature of the SEC. Coach Kennedy said he reminded him of a lot of the players they had at Cincinnati."
Not only did Graham perform well for the Hurricanes this summer, but he also had a strong showing at the Reebok ABCD Camp where he earned a spot in the all star game.
Graham is the No. 113 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Zach Graham scoring report:
Physical and athletic, Graham is an exceptional mid-range scorer. Not just able to get his shot off the dribble, Graham is also dangerous curl cutting off screens without the ball. He is also an aggressive rebounder and defender. His ball handling and shooting range have room for improvement.
