Two Final Visits For Miles

Calvin Miles, the 6-foot-5, 195-pound small forward/shooting guard from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas., recently trimmed his list of schools and only three remain. The No. 26 ranked player in the class of 2005 has scheduled two final official visits to Georgia Tech and Texas. Head coaches from Kansas, Georgia Tech and Texas will conduct in-home visits with Miles beginning on September 9.
“We will be visiting Georgia Tech this weekend and Texas during the second or third week of October,” Calvin Miles, Sr., said. “It remains to be seen if both visits will actually take place, but that is the plan right now. We plan to take one visit at a time and see what happens from there. Kansas, Georgia Tech and Texas are the finalists, but Calvin wants to take a couple of visits before selecting a school.”

After Miles canceled an official visit to Arizona a little over a week ago, the No. 4 ranked small forward decided to eliminate the Wildcats from his list of schools. North Carolina was removed from his list as well, which leaves three teams left standing.
“Texas is coming in on September 9, Georgia Tech is coming in on September 12 and Kansas will be here on September 13,” Mr. Miles said. “The in-home visits will give us the opportunity to spend time with the coaches from each school and get a better feel for the programs.”
