Two At Top For Star Forward

Terrence Roberts, a long and agile 6-8, 205 pound junior power/combination forward from St. Anthony's H.S. in Jersey City, N.J., told us that he has two schools at the top of his list -- Florida and Syracuse.
"They have been recruiting me the hardest," Roberts said. "I like both coaches. I like their playing styles. Both teams should have great teams in the future. I want to play for a winner too."

It's interesting that Florida and Syracuse are near the top for Roberts. Is weather a factor? "No, but being comfortable with the coaches and players is," Roberts said. "The conferences too are important. Those are two of the toughest conferences. I want tp play against the best."
When will a decision come? "I want to make sure I have everything taken care of with my test first," Roberts said. "Then I will think about when I would decide. It will probably be in the Fall. But I have thought about taking visits before the summer."
Roberts said he won't really do much until after his June test. "I am interested in everybody," Roberts said. "Maryland, Illinois, Villanova, Seton Hall, Connecticut, St. John's," Roberts said.
Roberts will play for Jimmy Salmon's T5T Playaz program this spring and summer. Roberts will travel with one of the most talented teams and will also face one of the more challenging schedules on the AAU circuit.
Roberts is a bouncy athlete who thrives in St. Anthony's up tempo attack of excellent guards. His quick leaping ability make him a potent force in the paint, but Roberts can also step away and knock down the short-midrange jumper on occasion.
