Tweaking the rankings

In a time when prospects frequently move from one classification to another, Rivals.com has had to make some quick adjustments to the 2007 and 2008 rankings.
In producing the latest Rivals150 for the 2007 class, Rivals.com was working under the assumption that Memphis signees Marcus Morris and Markeiff Morris would enroll at Memphis for the 2007-2008 season. The Morris twins have since informed Rivals.com that they will instead attend prep school next season.

The reclassification of Marcus and Markieff, therefore, opens up two spots at the end of the rankings for Braxton Dupree, a 6-foot-8, 260-pound post player from Clavert Hall College high School in Baltimore, Md., and 6-foot-2, 177-pound point guard Damontez Stitt. Dupree is headed to Maryland, and Stitt is a Clemson signee.
In the 2008 rankings, Marshall Moses, who is headed to Oklahoma State, opened up a spot at No. 60 with his move up to the 2007 class. Laron Dendy, who was formerly No. 69 in the 2007 class before reclassifying to 2008, has replaced Moses at No. 60 in the 2008 class.
