Turner Takes Another Trip

Peegs.com is reporting tonight that Larry Turner, a 6-10, 225-pound center/power forward from Bridgton Academy in Maine, is currently on the campus of Indiana.
RivalsHoops.com reported last week that Indiana head coach Mike Davis had spoken to Bridgton Academy head coach Whit Lesure. Davis has since made his move to try to sign Turner.

Sources tell us that family members have told the Connecticut staff that Turner still plans on visiting Connecticut next Monday and Tuesday instead of this week as was originally planned.
Sources tell us that Alabama has dropped out while Turner's visit to Oklahoma went well. There have been other schools inquiring about Turner too. Ohio State has also called and may try to set up a trip.
"Larry is a good kid and worked hard for us while he was with us," Lesure has said. "He had honor grades and took several difficult courses. He did all the work. He can be a great student/athlete for a major school."
Turner was recently rejected by the Georgia admissions office, opening up his recruiting process. Since he was rejected admission wise, he is eligible to play this winter for any division one program.
