Turner cleared by the NCAA, What Next

All eyes have been on Milledgeville, Georgia hoop star Larry Turner over the past several months.
As a student at Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, the 6-foot-10, 225-pound center/forward signed with Georgia in the fall of 2000 but failed to qualify academically. He sat out this past fall before enrolling at Bridgton Academy in Maine in January.

While at Bridgton, Turner was able to improve his test score to meet NCAA freshman eligibility requirements. Apparently, several weeks ago Turner honored his commitment to the Georgia staff and re-signed with the Bulldogs.
After a long wait, Turner finally passed his final hurdle in his attempt to play big-time college basketball. Turner has now been ruled eligible and fully cleared by the NCAA Clearing House.
However, questions still remain whether or not the University of Georgia will admit Turner into school, even though the NCAA has now cleared him. Apparently issues have arisen from the University’s initial attempts to admit Turner into school after he first signed with Georgia.
Turner was unavailable for comment.
