Turner Changes Date For Visit

Larry Turner, a 6-10, 225-pound center/power forward from Bridgton Academy in Maine, will visit Connecticut next Monday and Tuesday instead of this week as was originally planned.
Sources tell us that Alabama has dropped out while Turner's visit to Oklahoma went well. There have been other schools inquiring about Turner too. According to Bridgton Academy head coach Whit Lesure, Indiana and Ohio State have also called.

"Larry is a good kid and worked hard for us while he was with us," Lesure has said. "He had honor grades and took several difficult courses. He did all the work. He can be a great student/athlete for a major school."
Turner also visited Alabama but sources tell us the publicity surrounding the rejection by the Georgia admissions pushed the Tide away.
Turner was recently rejected by the Georgia admissions office, opening up his recruiting process. Since he was rejected admission wise, he is eligible to play this winter for any division one program.
