Tulsa scores with Oklahoma wing

During his time at Tulsa, head coach Doug Wojcik has been making a habit of unearthing wing talent and keeping them from high major conference schools.
He did it with Ben Uzoh, Justin Hurtt and more recently Jordan Clarkson.

After a Sunday commitment, 6-foot-4 shooting guard James Woodard looks to be the next name on that list.
A three-star prospect from Edmond (Okla.) Memorial, Woodard is a long and athletic wing scorer. While he's more of a streak shooter, he is very capable of getting hot from deep and is an excellent finisher off of the drive thanks to his length and bounce.
Woodard joins a class that includes big man -- and fellow Oklahoman -- D'Andre Wright. Woodard's younger brother, Jordan, is also a three-star prospect and currently ranks #122 nationally in the class of 2013.
