Tuckers Visits Called Off

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Rodney Tucker, a 6-8, 235 pound power forward from Tallahassee C.C. in Tallahassee, Fla., had planned a pair of spring trips.
TCC Head Coach Eddie Barnes previously informed JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Tucker would visit Auburn [Apr. 12-14] and Cincinnati [Apr. 19-21] before arriving at a spring decision. "Those visits are on hold now," Barnes told us yesterday at the Charlie Weber tournament.

Auburn Head Coach Cliff Ellis and Cincinnati Head Coach Bob Huggins had both been down to Tallahassee to visit with Tucker this spring.
Tucker spent two years at Florida State prior to enrolling at Tallahassee C.C. in the fall of 2001. He had planned to re-sign at Florida State this spring and return to the ACC program next fall, but the firing of Seminoles Head Coach Steve Robinson last month saw Tucker reopen the recruiting process.
There was also an alleged incident between Tucker and a young female. No charges have been filed as of this point. However, it appears that both schools now are not willing to bring Tucker in because of this past incident.
