Troy Godwin Decides
Troy Godwin, a massive 6-6, 304 pound power forward from Allegany J.C. in Cumberland, Md., signed with Virginia Commonwealth University.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Allegany Head Coach Bob Kirk late last week, and he told us that Godwin was at Tennessee-Chattanooga this past weekend.

He previously visited Appalachian State, Virginia Commonwealth and Western Kentucky.
Godwin also considered Miami of Florida.
Godwin averaged 13.8 points and 10.2 rebounds as a sophomore for Allegany as the Trojans reached the NJCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year. Godwin shot both 59 percent from the field and from the charity stripe.
Godwin is a native of Suffolk, Virginia.
