Troy Aaron Chooses A School

Point guard prospect Troy Aaron from St. Louis Catholic High School in Lake Charles (LA) committed to Tulane today. Aaron was a recruit who had six scholarship offers on the table at one time during the past six months.
Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Houston, West Virginia, McNeese State, and DePaul all offered at one point during Aaron's recruiting process. Some of these schools found other recruits and dropped out.

McNeese State was the first school to receive an official visit form Aaron, 6-foot-1, 175-pounds, and they had emerged as one of his favorites. But Aaron visited Tulane this past weekend and committed after having a great visit.
Although Arkansas and Miami had not offered they had shown interest in the versatile point guard.
Last year Aaron averaged 24 points and eight assists per contest. With a 3.02 core GPA and a 20 ACT score he will be fully qualified.
